We’re looking for a purpose‑driven Strategic Sourcing Manager who believes great supply chains are built on trust, collaboration and responsible decision‑making.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong commercial judgement with a genuine commitment to people, partnerships, and sustainable food systems.
As Strategic Sourcing Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping how food moves through our business, from farm and supplier to client and consumer.
You’ll work across internal teams and external partners to create responsible, resilient, and high‑performing supply chains, ensuring quality, availability, and integrity at every stage.
What You’ll Focus On Develop category strategies that balance commercial needs with long‑term sustainability
Lead fair, transparent sourcing and tender processes
Make sourcing decisions that support ethical procurement and net‑zero commitments
Ensure strong financial and commercial governance without losing sight of people and impact
Build authentic partnerships with suppliers and distributors, based on trust and shared goals
Encourage continuous improvement through collaboration, performance reviews and open dialogue
Ensure product quality, safety and service standards are upheld across all food categories
Act as a supportive, solutions‑oriented partner to operations and client‑facing teams
Align sourcing strategies with logistics, availability and operational realities
Communicate change thoughtfully, ensuring teams are supported and informed
Contribute to regional and global collaboration, sharing best practice and learning from others
The ideal candidate: Experience in foodservice, hospitality, retail or food supply environments
Strong background in sourcing or category management, particularly fresh food or short‑life categories
A balanced mindset: commercially astute, ethically grounded and relationship‑focused
Strong analytical capability, paired with curiosity and problem‑solving skills
Confidence engaging with internal teams and external partners at all levels
A belief that how you achieve results matters as much as the results themselves
