Responsibilities: Develop and maintain an extensive wine list that complements our culinary offerings and meets the discerning tastes of our guests. Provide expert recommendations and guidance to guests, assisting them in selecting wines that perfectly enhance their dining experience. Offer detailed descriptions and explanations of wine varietals, production techniques, and food pairings. Oversee wine inventory management, including procurement, storage, and stock rotation. Conduct regular wine training sessions for staff members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about our wine selection and capable of delivering exceptional service. Collaborate with the executive chef to curate wine pairing menus and assist in organizing special wine events or tastings for guests. Qualifications: Certified sommelier with a recognized qualification (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine & Spirit Education Trust, etc.). Extensive knowledge of both Old and New World wines, including varietals, vintages, and production methods. Demonstrated experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment, showcasing excellent wine service skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and educate guests. Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A team player with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The competitive gross annual salary of 35,000 euros, resulting in a net monthly income of 2,450 euros.
