For our Customer Support operations we are looking for a Customer Service Engineer, based in our Ireland Leixlip office. The Customer Support Organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, repair, maintenance and continuous improvement of the ASML systems at our customer sites. Role And Responsibilities Analyzes, diagnoses, and troubleshoots ASML advanced EUV manufacturing equipment issues at customer site. Performs installation, repair, retrofits, upgrades and preventive maintenance on ASML EUV equipment installed at customer sites. Assists customers in the receipt, installation, and testing of company equipment. Ensures that parts are available and as specified for service requirements. Take ownership for maintaining and optimizing the equipment on a daily basis to enhance functionality and proactively prevent problems. Proactively participate in the ASML Ireland Continuous Improvement Program, identifying and delivering on improvement projects/initiatives that support our local Maintenance program and demonstrate our value add to our customer. Education And Experience B Eng. / Bachelor Electronic, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, industrial, Physics or other related fields 0-2 years of experience Experience or knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process is an advantage but not essential Skills Excellent communication skills and speak English fluently. Is a strong team player, supporting & analytical skill and good working habits. Strong logical thinking, problem solving skills, attention to details and a quality mindset. Excellent problem solving/analytical skills are required where a 'Can do' / 'will Do' attitude is sought to enable us to proactively maintain and improve customers systems in the field. We are looking for a Field Support Engineer that is experienced in semiconductor or adjacent high tech equipment maintenance. You will be part of the technical core team CS EUV/DUV/YS Service Engineering, and work in close collaboration with the CS Tech support team. Are you a team player that likes to take a part in solving challenging, technical issues in a manufacturing environment? Then this is the position for you. Responsibilities Maintain and service photo lithography equipment at customer site in clean room. Periodically install new equipment, perform upgrades on existing equipment and system relocations. Monitor system performance. Work from procedures, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform preventative maintenance activities and testing under supervision. Responsible for shipping and receiving of modules needed for preventative maintenance activities, as well as crating and uncrating module assemblies. Can perform automated or semi-automated setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance routines on laser systems with limited supervision. Use standardized tools and electronic equipment (i.e., torque wrenches, electric and pneumatic screwdrivers and ball drivers, lifting equipment, computers, oscilloscopes) to assemble/install/remove or perform testing and guided troubleshooting. Prepares replaced assemblies for shipment, including follow-up for any Failure Analysis modules. Identifies and documents discrepant material; DOA – Non Conformances and consults FSE. Document and monitor safety or security violations critical to service operations. Perform housekeeping of local storage locations and tools cages adhering to 5S practices. Education and experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering field, or equivalent experience. Ability to read engineering specifications and sketches. Experience in logistics software: Oracle, SAP preferred. Other Information This position will require flexibility to infrequently travel to another customer site with short (24 hours) notice. Primary working location is in a Manufacturing facility in Leixlip, Kildare. Applicants must be able to work freely in both Ireland and UK.
