This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the Managing Director, with full responsibility for the commercial, quantity surveying, and estimating functions across the business. Key responsibilities include: Leading and developing the Commercial, QS, and Estimating teams Full accountability for cost control, forecasting, cashflow, and margins Oversight of valuations, variations, final accounts, and claims Commercial management of subcontract procurement and negotiations Strong leadership on contractual matters, including: Contract administration Claims preparation and defence Dispute avoidance and resolution Ensuring robust commercial systems, controls, and reporting Working closely with the MD and senior leadership to support: Business planning and Risk management Input into tender strategy, pricing, risk profiling, and bid reviews Driving consistency and best practice across all projects and teams The Person We are looking for a senior commercial leader, not just a career QS.
