  • Hard Services Lead

    Job Details We are currently recruiting a Hard Services Lead to join our team in a manufactory environment in Kilkenny. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 07:00-15:30. Main duties and responsibilities: To carry out planned preventative maintenance on all equipment under our control as per the Plant CMMS / CAFM system. Proactively identify and remedy equipment maintenance issues, to maximize equipment uptime. Liaise with the service desk / supervisor and respond to all queries in a timely manner. To carry out fault finding and repairs to broken down equipment, contact and coordinate service engineers where external assistance is required. Detailed tracking, analysis and reporting of planned hard services spend on monthly basis. Have the ability to evaluate any recommended follow up works from PM service visit and how it impacts on operations, quality or EHS. Work with site QA, Validation, EHS, Process and Packing department to determine compliance requirements and coordination of all maintenance works. Maintain appropriate records in line with cGMP requirements. Liaising with production department engineers and other support personnel to identify and solve problems. Ensure any training deemed necessary by your line manager is completed within the agreed time frame. Manage ad-hoc projects as required. Requirements: 3 Years' Experience working in a similar role. Certificate / Diploma or Senior Trades in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation. Must be highly organized and methodical. Proven Manager with a history of achieving and exceeding targets. Shift Pattern Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30 Main Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of GO services on site to ensure they meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and specifications. Supervise and support General Operatives, managing task allocation, monitoring performance, and ensuring high levels of productivity and quality. Assist the Site Lead with site inspections, audits, and reporting on service standards. Coordinate staff rosters, annual leave, and provide cover for absences as needed. Conduct staff inductions, ongoing training and ensure all team members are familiar with relevant procedures, including Health & Safety, SOPs, and Good Documentation Practice (GDP). Ensure completion and accuracy of daily documentation, checklists, and compliance logs. Support ad hoc tasks or requests from the Site Lead to meet operational needs. Flexibility to work rotating shifts (day/night) as required. Strong leadership and team coordination skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Proven ability to motivate, lead, and support a diverse team. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively. Fair, consistent, and professional in all dealings with team members. Qualifications and Experience Previous supervisory experience within facilities, industrial, or pharmaceutical environments desirable.
