They are keen to speak with curious and focused lawyers with a genuine subject matter interest in Employment law and a desire to build a career profile within this area of practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of contentious employment law matters, while also gaining valuable transactional and advisory experience with a consistent focus on public sector work. Key Responsibilities: Contentious Matters: Manage a caseload of contentious employment law matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment, and breach of contract claims. Represent clients in Employment Tribunals, High Court, and other relevant forums. Transactional and Advisory Work: Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on a broad range of employment law issues, including employment contracts, policies and procedures, restructuring and redundancy, TUPE transfers, and data protection. Draft and negotiate complex employment-related agreements and documentation. Public Sector Focus: Develop a deep understanding of employment law issues specific to the public sector, including public sector employment codes, industrial relations, and collective bargaining agreements. Advise and represent public sector clients on a variety of employment law matters. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with timely and commercially focused legal advice. Develop a reputation as a trusted advisor and advocate for your clients. Business Development: Actively participate in business development initiatives, contributing to the growth and success of the employment law practice. Qualifications and Skills: Qualified Solicitor: Admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland. Experience: 1-3 years PQE in employment law, with a proven track record of handling contentious matters and providing transactional and advisory support. Public Sector Experience: Experience working with public sector clients is highly desirable. Strong Legal Skills: Excellent legal research, analysis, and drafting skills. Ability to provide clear and concise legal advice. Client Focus: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their needs. Commercial Awareness: Understanding of the commercial implications of employment law issues. The role will primarily involve the production and coordination of winning pitch and tender documents for a range of practice areas but will also extend to broader business development initiatives. The role reports into the Tendering & Bids Manager. Your Responsibilities Drafting and coordinating pitches, tenders, and presentations for large panel reviews and smaller bids undertaken by the firm for public and private clients in Ireland and internationally. Managing formatting and layout of the response documents and ensuring all documents produced are fully compliant with requirements and firm branding. Maintaining and developing tender documents and tender library. Maintaining and updating the tenders/pitches database. Conducting post-tender analysis and reporting. Contributing to the improvement of bid processes and associated best practices. Assisting to promote a proactive approach to business development initiatives and client relationship management. Ensuring that the payment and return filing deadlines are met for a portfolio of corporate tax clients. Working with the Partners on advising clients on potential structures suitable for their business, transfer pricing and profit repatriations. Acting as a key member of an integrated client service team working on a wide range of assignments including tax advisory projects. Your Role - A Brief Guide Assisting the Financial Controller in the preparation and detailed analysis of monthly results, and where appropriate involvement with the production and presentation of yearly budgets and forecasts. Providing the General Manager with revenue reports; forecasted versus actual. Processing and checking supplier invoices through the online purchase ordering system. Maintaining Creditors Ledger and dealing with supplier queries.
