About the Role – Investment Operations Analyst The successful candidate will report into the Head of Operations, providing back/middle office support to both Internal and External Stakeholders not limited to but including, AIG Affiliate Insurance Co’s, Third Party Investors, Global Capital Markets, Compliance and AIG Treasury. Additional responsibility of this role includes oversight of investment activities performed on behalf of the AIG General Insurance International Portfolio by local investment teams and by external investment managers, in addition to governance relating to external manager oversight. Responsible for maintenance of PMF (Portfolio Master File) workflow tool to ensure that requests are actioned in a timely manner and support adherence to established control framework. Support monitoring and maintenance of FAS157 levelling process Act as a single point of contact for Portfolio Managers, CIO team, and Insurance Companies in respect to Investment operations queries. The oversight of externally managed portfolios, including an annual review of investment performance and operational performance for all external managers, and an annual recommendation to the investment committee as to whether the manager should be retained, or whether a new manager should be sought. Manage the delivery of investment committee objectives on behalf of the General Insurance International CIO team, specifically as it relates to ensuring IPGs are reaffirmed, Charters are reaffirmed, and an annual self-assessment is completed. A further responsibility of this role is to assist in the management and delivery of project initiatives, as requested by the General Insurance CIO team. This includes Aladdin implementation, third party outsourcing.
