  • Senior Civil Engineer  

    - Dublin

    A leading Irish consultancy specialising in sustainable infrastructure, circular economy, environment, energy, and renewables is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its Circular Economy and Environment team . Recognised for its expertise in waste and resource management, the organisation delivers consultancy services across waste prevention, recycling, energy recovery, and residual disposal for both public and private sector clients. Projects span solid waste, bio-waste, and sludge management throughout Ireland. This role can be based in Cork, Dublin, or Carlow and offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of circular economy and environmental projects within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will play a key role in project delivery and in supporting the continued growth of the business. Key Responsibilities Deliver projects in line with agreed programmes, quality standards, and budgets Plan and oversee the preparation of CAD design documentation with engineers and technicians Attend site meetings with clients and project stakeholders Ensure compliance with internal quality assurance and management systems Maintain adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams Degree in Civil Engineering Minimum of 5 -12 years’ post-graduate professional experience Demonstrated experience in project management Strong capability in managing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills Proven ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and sub-contractors Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently This organisation offers a very competitive salary & comprehensive benefits package designed to support professional growth, wellbeing, and work-life balance. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role on major national infrastructure projects while working within a highly respected specialist consultancy. The successful candidate will lead ecological input on large-scale road infrastructure projects , managing teams and delivering key assessments including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Appropriate Assessments (AA) .
