We are seeking an experienced manager or associate director to join our Corporate Advisory team in our Dublin office. At Goodbody, Managers and ADs play a strong part in the origination and execution of the firm’s advisory engagements. About You: 5+ years of experience at a highly regarded investment bank or accounting firm or M&A / corp dev role with a large company. Demonstrable M&A and/or Capital raising execution experience. What is the Role: The Cyber Defence Risk Analyst will provide expertise and management of IT Risk and Cyber Defence matters. This person will have a background in IT, IT Risk management and Governance, with the technical skills, energy, and enthusiasm to support Technology and Data in carrying out their risk management responsibilities by providing first line oversight on risk management policies, guidelines and best practices and a strong risk assessment capability. In addition, this person would manage certain Cyber Defence inspections and have the capability to assess the impact of upstream and downstream regulation on the function and wider Bank. Key accountabilities: Demonstrating a good understanding of technology & data processes such as IT Service Management, Technology Delivery Lifecycle, Data Quality, Storage and Retention and be confident to assess these processes from a first line risk perspective. Complete relevant aspects of risk-based assessments of Group IT's control environment, to figure out adequacy and effectiveness of controls in place to mitigate risks. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key partners across Technology & Data, acting as a trusted adviser and SME, to support stakeholders in their management of technology risks. Supporting the collation and production of effective standardised technology risk and regulatory reporting to Technology & Data, Business Units, risk committees and Board to enable risk informed decision-making and investment prioritisation. Coordinating the assessment of new regulatory testing, simulations, and corporate requirements that impact the Technology function. What you Will Bring: 5 plus years of IT experience, with experience in a risk, compliance or governance function. Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA or CISSP or similar would be an advantage. Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of IT risk management approaches and/or frameworks, with experience of risk analysis in an IT environment. Proven experience and ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders and to communicate to a non-technical audience. Possess strong technical skills and a proven ability to demonstrate a broad understanding of the enterprise technology landscape and all of its component parts.
