The Opportunity The successful candidate will join a team of experienced technical experts who manage a large commercial combined, property and liability portfolio. Working proactively with Broker partners and Allianz Customer Relationship Executives you will ensure that our existing customers receive a best-in-class service from us. A key component of the role is underwriting renewal terms for SME customers. This process involves regular engagement with internal stakeholders in Customer, Pricing and Portfolio Management to ensure that we deliver against our GWP targets which support our overall growth strategy. Role Responsibilities: Profitably underwrite commercial, property and liability insurance submissions to achieve GWP targets Manage and develop relationships with intermediaries, within the team and with colleagues in other areas of the business. Oversee the end-to-end customer outcome of allocated renewals aligned to target KPIs Balance speed of turnaround with technical requirements of the role to deliver on renewal retention targets. Engage with internal stakeholders in Sales and Distribution, Pricing and Portfolio management to negotiate terms and conduct detailed risk assessment and acceptance within existing Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) framework agreements. Contribute towards the growth strategy by sharing insights at the relevant fora Share knowledge and technical expertise with colleagues, contribute to personal and team technical development Identify and implement improvements in process, proposition or service to best serve our customer base Essential Experience A minimum 3 years experience in commercial insurance APA or relevant qualification** Experience in customer relationship management, achieving targets and technical underwriting Desirable Experience CIP or working towards ACII Experience in a sales role in commercial or general insurance Proficiency in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM system) and i90 Allianz plc. is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. The Opportunity We are recruiting for a Motor Bodily Injury Claims Handler to join our team, based in Dublin. Your role will involve the pro-active handling and management of a portfolio of bodily injury claims from notification through to settlement. Why Join us? Reporting to the Motor Injury Claims manager, you will join a team of technical experts who continue to uphold the highest standard of collaboration, in a hybrid working model. Key Responsibilities: Proactive management of claims while demonstrating exceptional customer service, to both internal & external customers Handle claims in line within Allianzs claims handling requirements and regulatory requirements e.g. Consumer Protection Code, GDPR Manage daily workflow to ensure customer charters are met Interpret and establish policy cover Evaluate liability through desktop investigation and the instruction of external resources Evaluate Allianz's potential financial exposure on an ongoing basis to ensure that each claim is adequately reserved for Negotiate settlement of claims directly with claimants and solicitors Handle litigation files that will require Court attendance for hearings, settlement and other consultations Identify instances of potential fraud; escalate cases to the SIU team where appropriate Maintain effective internal and external relationships Essential Requirements : Minimum of 5 years Bodily Injury Claims handling experience CIP, Dip CII, Grandfathered or ACII qualification. Proven track record of excellent customer service delivery and strong communication skills Advanced understanding of technical claims processes and procedures Experience of handling litigated claims. While the role is officially based in Elm Park, Dublin 4 the team currently uphold a highly flexible hybrid way of working. Reporting to the Commercial Pricing Manager, you will work alongside a team of pricing actuaries and analysts to deliver best in class pricing analysis to support our Enterprise Lines of Business, principally Commercial Property, Liability and Fleet. You will also work closely with a range of teams across the company including portfolio management, underwriting and actuarial to support business and customer needs. Key Responsibilities: Build and refresh technical risk cost models in line with Allianz Global P&C best practice approach. Perform impact analyses of any change to pricing models. Communicate effect of model changes to senior managers, ensuring the impact of any changes are well understood and documented. Deliver pricing recommendations for all lines of business to deliver planned profitability. Collaborate with the relevant product portfolio managers, sharing knowledge and developing new products and solutions to business problems. Manage and update pricing tariffs. Follow appropriate governance, sign off and execution of price changes. Make best use of available and emerging datasets to develop innovative pricing approaches and identify emerging pricing issues in the market. Automating and enhance processes to improve efficiencies. Support organisational wide strategic projects with technical pricing knowledge ? Key Requirements / Skills & Experience Essential: Qualified Actuary Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in an Actuarial or Pricing role. Demonstrated competency with relevant pricing and data manipulation software, e.g. Emblem, SAS, R, Python Demonstrated experience in communicating and delivering technical solutions to business stakeholders Desirable: Competent in using Radar Extensive knowledge and experience of the full range of standard GI Pricing techniques Allianz plc. is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
