Installation/Service Technician Allen Dairy Services are looking for an Installation Service/Technician to join our team based in County Kildare. Job Description: The fitting, servicing and repair of milking machines, hydraulic scrapers, feeders, heaters, motors and pumps on agricultural sites. The job will involve you working as part of a team or on your own as each job requires. In repair work you will need to fault find and ensure the smooth running of our customers machinery. You will be responsible for completing daily job documentation for the work you undertake. This position will involve working mainly in the Leinster area. Requirements: Ideally, you will have extensive engineering experience with qualifications in either electrical/plumbing/hydraulic or mechanical work. There will be some training given. To repair, maintain and service milking equipment. Ability to work as part of a team. Be flexible and willing to work overtime if required (can occasionally involve weekend work) Willing to work in varied roles as required. Confident and able to work on your own initiative. Excellent communication skills. Accuracy in the preparation/delivery of technical job reports. Good time-keeping and reliable. Based locally. Honest hardworking attitude A background or interest in agriculture is an advantage. Clean driving licence The salary will depend on experience.
