Purpose of the Role To deliver excellent customer service, provide advice and information to customers on all product ranges available in the pharmacy, and maintain category management and merchandising standards. Duties & Responsibilities Provide product information and advice to customers across all product ranges, consulting with the Managing Pharmacist as appropriate. Maintain good stock control, rotating stock, ensuring correct supplier details, and delivery details. Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times, enhancing the relationship with Pharmacy Customers. Work effectively as part of the Pharmacy team, being flexible and adaptable, assisting in all areas of the Pharmacy operation as required. Maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with colleagues at all times. Fulfil OTC medicine requests appropriately using WWHAM questioning and refer to the Pharmacist when necessary. Vigilantly adhere to correct procedures regarding security and handling of cash and receipts within the Pharmacy. Ensure the Pharmacy is kept clean and tidy; report any Health and Safety issues promptly. Participate in training and development programmes, proactively developing the job function. Perform any other duties as required. Teamwork & Customer Focus Provide support to other stakeholders within the pharmacy and across the Allcare network to meet company goals. Display pro‑activity and initiative. Build positive working relationships with colleagues. Participate in staff training programmes and develop the role function. Deliver high‑quality customer service, enhancing the relationship with Pharmacy Customers. Qualifications, Experience & Skills Minimum 1 year experience in pharmacy, retail, or hospitality (preference). Cashier experience advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to use discretion when addressing customer queries and maintain confidentiality. Strong attention to detail. Organised and able to multitask under pressure.
