Your Responsibilities Include Managing a global engineering team to ensure the successful design, implementation, testing, and integration of AI-powered applications, using Agile and DevOps methodologies. Leading software development and driving best practices around modern software design, scalability, and cloud-native architectures within modern product development processes and pipelines. Identifying and resolving complex technical challenges, managing technical debt and technical risk, and providing creative solutions to ensure the smooth execution of engineering projects. Overseeing team activities, setting priorities, and guiding the team to meet key project objectives with minimal oversight. What Is Needed To Be Successful You are an expert in the software development lifecycle, with significant experience leading teams through Agile and DevOps processes, ideally in AWS, Java and Python environments. You have a deep understanding of building scalable cloud-native applications, applying modern concurrency principles, and working with programming languages central to AIG’s core business. You have experience working with both relational and non-relational databases and are familiar with modern web application frameworks. You are proficient in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system monitoring, ensuring applications run smoothly in production environments. About The Role AIG is seeking a highly skilled cyber-defense expert to join AIG’s Detect & Response team. The Cyber Risk Defense Analyst will execute a range of threat discovery and incident response duties. The successful candidate will work as part of a team that conducts investigations into potential and actual cyber-attacks affecting AIG’s global business units, lines of business, or information technology infrastructure. The Detect & Response team encompasses several teams across disciplines including alert validation and tuning, incident response, and cyber threat intelligence. The teams follow a kill chain-aligned operational model, giving the candidate exposure to all elements of an attack lifecycle. Responsibilities Investigate potential cyber-attacks and intrusion attempts. Leverage aggregated cyber threat intelligence, log, network flow, and anomaly data for analysis, research and the identification of potential compromise within AIG’s infrastructure or applications. Perform root cause analysis to identify gaps and provide technical and procedural recommendations that will reduce AIG’s exposure to cyber-risks. Prioritize incoming requests to minimize risk exposure and ensure the timely completion of critical tasks and the escalation of time-sensitive issues. Support the development and maintenance of documented play-book procedures, knowledge articles, and training material. Create detailed incident and analysis reports, and provide concise summaries for management. Communicate effectively with other stakeholders of our incident response efforts, including representatives of the business units, technology specialists, vendors, and others. Contribute to our efforts to drive continuous improvement by recommending and collecting various key metrics for reporting to senior management on Incident Response. Requirements An understanding of cyber security operations processes, procedures, guidelines and solutions, including practical experience of cyber kill chain principles. In-depth understanding of Windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems, networking, malware defenses, and perimeter controls. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and core Internet protocols such as UDP, ICMP, DNS, FTP, SMTP, HTTP, SNMP, etc. Ability to contribute to the development of SIEM use cases. Strong oral and written communications skills and ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, as well as present in front of small and large groups. Understanding of how to read and interpret malware analysis reports. Self-starter with a sense of urgency who takes ownership and responsibility for service delivery. Works independently with minimal guidance to drive projects to completion, while also working collaboratively with the team to achieve strategic goals.     Overview Investment Operations Senior Analyst at AIG. Responsibilities Responsibility for investment operations control framework, including SOX, non-SOX, key report maintenance and coordination, audit queries, and engagement with internal/external audit partners. Support oversight of Blackrock DSS team IBOR reconciliations output including monitoring of Cash and Asset Exceptions, ensuring escalation where required following review of key fields such as root cause. This includes preparation and delivery of weekly, monthly, and annual reports to support adherence to established control framework. Support maintenance of PMF (Portfolio Master File) workflow tool to ensure that requests are actioned in a timely manner and support adherence to established control framework. Support maintenance and oversight of data quality in Aladdin environment, including security master data, reference data, corporate action data and related elements. Work with Internal Teams and Outsourced Service provider to manage investment cash flows to and from Client accounts in a timely manner. Support for monthly pricing process for relevant universe of securities on Aladdin. Support for monitoring and maintenance of FAS157 levelling process. Act as a single point of contact for Portfolio Managers, CIO team, and Insurance Companies in respect to Investment operations queries. Continually review processes to identify areas for increased efficiency and risk reduction. Assist with regular audit related requests from internal & external auditors. Support team manager as required, including cross training and ad hoc projects. Qualifications Degree in business, finance or a related discipline 5+ years’ experience working in an investments or asset management environment, ideally with a focus on operations, governance and compliance Robust investments and business knowledge, with understanding of both front and back-office processes within an investments business A strong and demonstrable understanding of the fixed income asset class, support of investment operations cash flow management, and corporate governance structures required within an investment manager. Proven experience and ability to develop relationships with multiple internal stakeholders and partner on key business initiatives. Experience dealing with senior managers, coordinating deliverables, prioritizing tasks accordingly, and realizing objectives Proven expertise with business intelligence tools, PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, and translating this into an ability to manage and interpret large arrays of data.
