We are now seeking an experienced Administrator/Radiographer Aideto join our team in Affidea -Dundrum Duties: Radiographer Aide: Responsible for providing excellence in patient service through the efficient management of patients through registration process. Greeting patients and ensuring 3 key patient identifiers are checked Managing the patient flow in line with the daily clinic schedule Ensuring following day schedule is correct and up to date. Booking and Scheduling of patients as required. Providing reassurance and information to patients regarding their treatment Handling and resolving patient complaints in line with company guidelines Providing emotional and physical support to patients during treatment Ensuring patient safety throughout procedure General upkeep of suite and maintaining JCI standards of Hygiene General admin duties associated with clear and precise documentation for each patient Obtaining Patients consent regarding ultrasound exam Preparing patient for TV ( trans vaginal ) scan Providesupporttosonographerduringexam To set up room following each examination. Sterilize probes in line with training given Patient Administrator: Ability to handle patient complaints or issues on a day-to-day basis Ability to work as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability to be able to deal with different tasks Greeting and Registering patients on a day-to-day basis at the reception desk Handling and resolving patient complaints in line with company guidelines Performing any local administration tasks such as billing/claims/ lodgements etc Where relevant providing films/cds and receipts to patients Updating all records in an efficient, confidential manner with excellent attention to detail. We are now seeking an experienced CT Clinical Specialist to join the team based in Dublin The CT Clinical Specialist is responsible for the management and monitoring of a safe and compliant CT service on a daily basis. Clinical Specialist The CT Clinical Specialist is responsible for the independent operation of CT equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using CT. The CT Clinical Specialist is responsible for daily operations of the CT list, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). The CT Clinical Specialist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve. The CS is responsible for all protocolling in conjunction with the reporting radiologists for their site. The CS has to be up to date in their understanding of SI 256 and SI 30 and ensure compliance for their CT scanner particularly in relation to Justification, Optimisation and all safety standards. Ensure that the staff in the CT department are fully trained and signed off in relation to our policies and procedures. Ensure that the CT department is fully compliant with all ionising radiation legislation and audit ready. Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic CT examinations. Uses cognitive radiographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images. Uses independent judgment during the CT exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings. Analyses information and medical history and communicates findings to the appropriate physician. Coordinates work schedule with Lead Clinical Specialists/Head of clinical operations and/or scheduling desk to assure workload coverage. Assumes responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients while they are in their care. Maintains and updates Radiology Information Systems. Maintains CT equipment and work area and maintains adequate supplies. Performs other work-related duties as assigned. Participate in the staff development and individual performance review process. Radiographer To provide cover in other Radiology areas such as MRI, X-ray and DXA. Be responsible for specific aspects of service activities as may be delegated from time to time by either the Head of clinical operations or the Clinical Lead Be conversant with, and observe, radiation safety local rules. Observe systems of dose reduction-Justification, Optimisation (ALARA), Limitation. Make use of radiation protective devices. Observe departmental policy regarding radiological examination of women of reproductive capacity. Observe practices that protect yourself, the patient and others from direct and scattered radiation. Accept only those requests, which are properly authorised in accordance with established criteria, and where requests are for examinations that will be of benefit to the patient. Ensure that patient understands the nature of the examination, and that patients consent is obtained prior to carrying out any examination. Assist in the safe transfer and movement of patients under their care. Ensure that each examination is fully completed. Keep a record of every radiological examination carried out, noting screening times, radiation doses and other statistics where appropriate. Keep abreast in understanding and knowledge of all new developments applicable to radiography. Comply with departmental policies service.
