Your Mission The Mexican Spanish Language Specialist supports the localisation of high‑quality marketing assets for Mexican Spanish, working closely with Project Management and Localisation QA. The successful candidate will support the localisation of assigned products from planning through to delivery. Player Profile and Responsibilities Translate / Proofread video‑game related documents from English to Mexican Spanish. Review and approve assets before they are published. Partner with external Mexican Spanish localisation agencies to decide on translation style, answer queries, and support delivery of high‑quality translation. Work with the internal Project Management team to develop and implement plans delivering quality for our Mexican Spanish language games. Collaborate with the internal QA Department during the quality assurance process for localized products and serve as a point of escalation and advice for the Mexican Spanish localisation testers on translation and linguistic questions. Desirable Experience Previous experience as a Mexican Spanish Translator, ideally within the video‑game industry. Experience using industry CAT tools, especially memoQ. Knowledge & Skills Fluent in Mexican Spanish (verbal and written), with creative writing skills a distinct advantage. Business fluency in English (verbal and written). Demonstrated creative translation expertise and experience in subtitling/voice‑script localisation and adaptation. Specialisation in different gaming genres, particularly shooters (FPS). Knowledge of the video‑game and localisation industries. Understanding of local and market cultural sensitivities.
