Key Responsibilities Are you ready to design and implement cutting‑edge security solutions for complex systems and networks? As an Enterprise Security Architect at Accenture, you’ll play a pivotal role in safeguarding businesses while addressing regulatory compliance and industry best practices. The Enterprise Security Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and governing end‑to‑end security architecture across the enterprise. This includes defining security standards, reference architectures, and ensuring that security requirements are embedded into technology, cloud, data, and business solutions. The architect acts as a strategic advisor across IT and business teams, ensuring the organization maintains a strong and adaptive security posture aligned with business goals. Architecture & Design Design, develop, review, and implement enterprise security architectures for new or existing systems, applications, cloud environments, and platforms. Define and maintain security policies, standards, security patterns, and reference architectures across IT & OT environments. Conduct security architectural assessments , identify gaps, and propose solutions that align with enterprise governance and strategy. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and manage architectural exceptions as part of change governance. Security Governance & Integration Collaborate with engineering, cloud, data, and application teams to ensure secure design and configuration across solutions. Integrate security architecture into initiative planning, innovation programs, and emerging technologies oversight. Lead or participate in Architecture Review Boards , ensuring compliance with security design guidelines. Risk Management & Assurance Perform security reviews , risk assessments, and vulnerability impact analyses across systems and solutions. Establish and track security architecture metrics , ensuring continuous improvement and maturity. Define target‑state security architectures and roadmap security capabilities across domains. Cloud & Emerging Tech Create and maintain cloud security architecture, including responsibilities mapping across IaaS/PaaS/SaaS. Analyses and guide integration of emerging tech (AI, IoT, quantum) while managing associated risks. Collaboration & Leadership Act as a strategic advisor and security thought leader to business, engineering, and executive stakeholders. Build strong partnerships with cross‑functional teams and serve as the primary liaison between enterprise and solution architecture teams. Contribute to capability building, mentoring, and internal community development. Qualifications & Skills Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field. 10+ years of experiencein information security, including at least 5 years as a Security Architect. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and guide secure design decisions across complex environments. Familiarity with industry standards/frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 or CSF, CIS Controls, GDPR). Security qualifications including at least one of the following: CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CCSK Security architecture qualifications preferrable: SABSA or TOGAF Strong knowledge of: Security Architecture & Design Cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) Identity & Access Management, Network Security, Application Security SIEM/SOAR, endpoint security, and secure SDLC Soft Skills Executive communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership.
