    We have a very exciting new position available for a Duty Manager in the Absolute Hotel. Objective of the Role: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Duty Manager will assist in overseeing the running of key functions in the hotel, as well as supporting the General Manager. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the operations of the Hotel. Ensure quality and standards are met consistently. Anticipate guest needs, and proactively manage their expectations. Assist with the management of the hotels daily operations, ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service from each department. Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues. Have full knowledge of the hotel and all departments. To assist HODs with the management and supervision of staff ensuring standards are maintained at all times To ensure that the premises are operating in compliance with the Health & Safety at work Act and the Hotel Health & Safety Policy. Requirements: Previous Duty Management experience in a busy property. Have the ability to manage a large and demanding Hotel operation on a daily basis Excellent communication skills.   • Sales and Marketing Manager

    The Absolute Hotel are currently recruiting a Sales & Marketing Manager to join the Absolute Hotel Person Specification Our ideal candidate is a digitally focused, sales and marketing professional with an urban hotel background who has a strong grounding in online/offline sales skills. Working closely with the Revenue Manager and General Manager this person will be working at one of the top-rated hotels on Tripadvisor in our market with a Net Promoted Score of over 80. Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Sales & Marketing/Events department - performance of reporting lines including completing weekly/monthly meeting and performance reviews with critical focus on relationship with revenue manager. Complete weekly and monthly reports for weekly and monthly sales and revenue meetings with additional responsibility for quarter sales review/preview presentation to operations director. Manage for delivery signed off annual sales and marketing plan covering strategy for target delivery on the following: key goals and KPIs across corporate accounts, GDS, market source mix, website production strategy, leisure tour operators, room hire, C&B, food & beverage and PR/Marketing activity. Identify potential deficiencies or deviations from revenues and demonstrate proactive activity/plans to address driven from interaction in weekly revenue meeting. Complete agreed targets and KPIs across sales calls completed in week, reviewing new accounts performance and targeting signed new accounts, managing present producers including recontacting, GDS & RFP performance review, M&E activity, Marketing activity. The ideal candidate for this position would possess Proven track record in Hotel Sales & Marketing environment dealing with a range of business segments and offline/online sources. Ability to manage hotel digital/online marketing requirements including analytics, booking engine management stills (Avvio), social media including FB/Instragram campaigns, E-Zine campaign management. Previous exposure/insight/interaction with revenue management function including rate negotiations.
