These vessel diseases can lead to heart attack, stroke, critical limb ischemia and other serious vascular conditions. Purpose Statement Provides support to the manufacturing organisation to facilitate efficient operations within the production area, optimises existing processes, and ensures that production goals are met. Monitors equipment, machines and tools, addressing issues causing non-conforming products, low yields, or product quality problems. Interfaces with quality and R\&D teams to integrate new products or processes into the existing manufacturing area. Key Responsibilities1. Technical Development & Innovation Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes for current and next-generation programmes. Supports achievement of the strategic goals and objectives of the company. Prepares reports, publishes findings, and delivers presentations to communicate results. 2. Complex Problem Solving Analyses and resolves problems ranging from basic engineering issues to complex challenges requiring innovative or breakthrough technological solutions. 3. Engineering Expertise Understands engineering principles, theories, concepts, practices, and techniques. Develops specialised expertise to become a recognised authority in a specific area and applies this knowledge in leadership roles within the company. 4. Business Awareness Incorporates business policies and procedures into task completion. Understands organisational and customer needs, the business cycle, and emerging technology trends. 5. Collaboration, Networking & Mentoring Cultivates internal and external networks required to complete tasks. Acts as a resource in selecting, orienting, and training new engineers and employees. May lead project teams, determining goals and objectives. Mentors employees by sharing technical expertise and providing guidance. 6. Cross-Functional Interaction Interacts with internal and external customers across functional areas. Serves as a consultant for engineering or scientific interpretation and advice on significant matters. Acts as a spokesperson with customers regarding current and future business unit capabilities. 7. Validation Activities Participates in validation activities. May provide input, write protocols/reports, or manage execution of validation tasks. Education & Job Skills1. Experience / Education NFQ Level 7 (full credits) qualification in a relevant discipline. 2+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2. Technical / Business Knowledge (Job Skills) Working technical knowledge with an understanding of relevant concepts, practices, and procedures. General understanding of business unit or group functions. Work is performed within a quality system environment. Poor performance may result in regulatory noncompliance. 3. Cognitive Skills Works on problems of moderate to high complexity requiring analysis of various identifiable factors. Exercises judgement within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions. Must possess broad knowledge of technical alternatives and understand their impact on system environments. 4. Influence / Leadership Develops and maintains a wide internal network and begins expanding external networks. May lead project teams of varying scope. Provides guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff. Influence is primarily at peer level and occasionally at first-level management. 5. Planning / Organisation Plans, organises, and prioritises daily workload to meet scheduled deadlines. 6. Decision Making / Impact Exercises authority and judgement within defined limits. Errors or failure to achieve results may cause programme delays or require additional resources. 7. Supervision Received Works under general to minimal supervision. Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for technical soundness, adequacy, and accuracy.

Purpose of the Job: With general guidance from functional management, responsible for providing team leadership to a group of employees committed to increased quality and productivity. Supports demand of the business unit. Identifies and analyses problems, plans tasks and solutions. Provides guidance to team on development, performance and productivity issues. Reports to functional and/or organisation management on team accomplishments, achievements and productivity. As a Production Supervisor, your key responsibilities will be as follows: 1. Implement a staffing plan by identifying resource requirements and co-ordinating the with Operations Management and Planning Schedulers 2. Monitor daily work operations and provide support to team members 3. Develop your team through training and assigning progressively more challenging tasks 4. Develop feasibility and execute continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency or remove waste from the process. 5. Interact with key stakeholders: Quality, Engineering, Human Resources, Supply Chain, EHS, Operations Management, Finance & Operations Excellence. 6. Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures 7.
