The role has presented due to a significant increase in headcount over the last 3 years. The position is a Part Time role working in tandem with the HR Manager. The Role: As a HR Business Partner , you will support the HR manager in delivering a highly effective, agile, and people-focused HR service to employees and the business as a whole. You will be involved in a broad range of HR activities, ensuring best practices are implemented to support business growth, employee engagement, and organisational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: HR Administration & Operations – Provide day-to-day HR support, including HR systems management, reporting, and compliance. Talent Acquisition & Retention – Assist in sourcing, onboarding, and retaining top talent to support the company’s continued growth. Performance Management – Support management in ensuring an effective performance review process, inclusive of probations / mid and annual review processes. Compensation & Benefits – Assist in benchmarking, salary reviews, and benefits administration. Employment Law & Compliance – Provide HR guidance, ensuring fairness, consistency and compliance with current employment laws in both Ireland & the UK. HR Systems & Process Improvement – Promote continuous improvement through introduction of innovative ideas/ HR technologies as applicable to drive efficiency and enhance employee experience. Employee Engagement & Wellbeing – Champion initiatives to support a positive and high-performing workplace culture inclusive of EDI and maintaining a strong EVP. Ad Hoc – Assist in preparation of any regulatory / statutory reports (Gender Gap reporting) and support cross company initiatives in particular Marketing in ensuring employer brand is maximised. About You: Experience: Minimum 5 years HR experience in a generalist or HRBP role. Qualification: A recognised HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent) or Commerce /Business degree. Employment Law: Competent knowledge of Irish employment law (UK employment law is an advantage). HR Systems & IT: Experience with HRIS or similar HR software, highly proficient in MS office and social media platforms. Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business. Communication: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Problem-Solving: Proactive, solution-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.   • Bid Administrator (Part Time)

    PUNCH Consulting Engineers have an exciting new opportunity for a Bid Administrator within the Administration Department. The Administrator will report directly to the Administration Manager (located in Dublin), Directors and General Company Senior Management as relevant. The role offers flexibility to work from any of our Irish offices (Dublin, Cork, Limerick, or Galway). In summary, the role includes assisting with the following duties: Tender Bid Submissions, Marketing documentation and administration, Social Media input, New Staff Orientation, Quality Systems administration and General Office Administration. A detailed list of duties is included below: Details Production of Tender Submission documents for new project bids in support of the Administration Manager, including liaising directly with the Project Director/Project Manager. General input into the running of the Company Tender Submission process. Preparation and management of Marketing material (brochures, capability statements, etc.) using InDesign software (training included). Input to the Company’s Social Media Function: LinkedIn / Facebook / X. Assist Directors with company Marketing. Assisting the HR Manager when required. Assist with the compilation of monthly data sheets, Holiday charts, Environmental records, and Quality Management Systems administration. General office administration support and other ad hoc office duties as they arise. Experience / Qualifications The candidate will ideally hold a University Degree and have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in an office environment in a similar role. Industry-specific experience is not a requirement. Experience with tender bid submissions preferable. Experience with InDesign software desirable. A high level of IT proficiency to include MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel). Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential. Excellent team player with the ability to work on own initiative. Enjoys taking ownership and responsibility for work. Highly organised with excellent time management and deadline-oriented. Commercial awareness and appreciation of the importance of quality and accuracy in the tender process. A flexible, positive, and proactive mindset is essential with the ability to engage with numerous stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation. Working Hours 5-day week, circa 24 hours per week is preferable. Please note PUNCH operates a Hybrid working environment.
